How important is a wedding photograph

Tonight I am working on a project requested by my Mother. These two young kids are my grandparents in their wedding photo from 1906. I never had the pleasure of knowing any of my grandparents, but as I work on cleaning up the image; I am amazed to see a little bit of me on the screen. It makes me think: "How important is great wedding photography? How will your wedding story be told 103 years from now?"
